School Improvement
School Improvement provides school districts with support to build local capacity to meet state and local goals for raising learning achievement for all students.
Links to NYSED Assessment Information, Curriculum Mapping ideas, and subject-
specific websites can be found on the SIP page..

Datawarehousing
BOCES staff provides support and training (in conjunction with the Regional Information Center) in regional and district-wide data warehousing and data analysis.

Comprehensive Health and Wellness (Growing Healthy)
A comprehensive health education curriculum for children in grades K-6, the Growing Healthy Program builds on a nationally-validated curriculum. It provides training, teaching materials in kit form and integration with other State Education Department syllabi.

Interscholastic Coaching
BOCES coordinates the delivery of staff development programs to met State Education Department athletic coaching requirements.

Science Resources
The Science Resources Program is designed to improve science instruction by providing access to instructional kits and coordinated staff training. Individual programs provide students with hands-on experiences in science. Students learn science content and skills while developing a more positive attitude toward science.

School and Societal Perspectives
Designed to go about the work of raising standards and improving assessment, the acquisition of the requisite social and emotional knowledge and skills remains critical. BOCES coordinates the delivery of staff development activities, including awareness sessions and specific content training to participating districts. In addition, this service meets the needs of districts that wish to cooperate on issues of local concern.

SETRC (Special Education Training & Resource Center)
SETRC provides professional development, information dissemination and technical assistance and has a professional lending library to assist school personnel and parents in the education of students with disabilities.
